Celtics Cruise to 2-0 Lead in Eastern Finals

Big-Time Js Fuel Epic Game 1 Win

Dominant First Half Sets the Tone

In a thrilling Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Boston Celtics put on a dominant performance to secure a 126-110 victory over the Indiana Pacers. The Celtics' famed "Big Three" of Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, and Marcus Smart led the charge, showcasing the dynamic play that has propelled them to this stage.

The Celtics came out firing, reeling off 20 unanswered points to take a commanding 42-27 lead with just seven minutes remaining in the first half. Tatum led the way with 17 points in the opening period, while Smart and Brown each contributed 10 points to establish an early advantage.

Pacers Struggle to Keep Pace

The Pacers, despite a strong start by Domantas Sabonis, were unable to keep pace with the Celtics' high-octane offense. Indiana's defense struggled to contain Tatum, who exploded for 29 points on 10-of-17 shooting, including a blistering 5-of-9 from beyond the arc.

Brown added 23 points, while Smart chipped in with 20 points and dished out 7 assists. Pacers star Victor Oladipo led the way for Indiana with 28 points, but his efforts were not enough to overcome the Celtics' balanced attack.

Celtics Take Control

The Celtics took control of the game in the third quarter, extending their lead to 20 points. The Pacers showed signs of life in the fourth quarter, but the Celtics held on to secure the victory and take a commanding 2-0 lead in the series. Game 2 is scheduled for Friday night at the TD Garden in Boston.
