Anna Delveys Legal Battle Puts Dancing With The Stars Debut On Hold

Anna Delvey’s legal battle puts 'Dancing with the Stars' debut on hold

New York socialite Anna Delvey, who faked her way into the hearts and banks of New York's elite, is set to make her dancing debut on "Dancing with the Stars".

However, due to legal issues involving unpaid debts and other contractual disputes, her highly anticipated appearance on the show has now been put on hold.

Anna Sorokin, also known by her pseudonym Anna Delvey, is no stranger to the spotlight. In 2019, she was convicted of grand larceny and theft of services after scamming banks, hotels, and friends out of $275,000. While serving time in prison, she became the subject of a Netflix series "Inventing Anna" which chronicled her rise and fall in New York City high society.

Delvey's upcoming appearance on "Dancing with the Stars" was seen as a chance for her to redeem her image and showcase her talents. However, her legal troubles have thrown a wrench in those plans. According to sources, Delvey owes money to several creditors and has been sued by multiple parties. These legal battles have not been resolved, which is preventing her from participating in the show.

It's unclear when or if Delvey will be able to join the cast of "Dancing with the Stars". The show's producers are reportedly working with her legal team to find a solution. In the meantime, fans of the show will have to wait and see if Delvey's legal issues will permanently sideline her from the dance floor.
